Rice Flour, Tapioca Flour, Corn Starch, Baking Powder, Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum, Locust Bean Gum.
This mix is free from wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts and tree nuts.
Recipe For Gluten Free Biscuit & Baking Mix
- Place rack in center of oven and preheat to 400°F.
- Work ¼ cup of cold butter into 2 cups of mix. Leave some butter in small, visible pieces.
- Whisk the 2 eggs and 1/3 cup milk together.
- Mix wet ingredients into the dry butter mixture.
- Lightly dust your work surface with mix, then turn the dough out onto it.
- Roll out and fold dough onto itself four to five times, then gently roll it to about ¾ inch thick. Cut with a 2 ½ inch round cutter dipped in baking mix. (Rework scraps together to cut additional biscuits.)
- Set the biscuits 2 inches apart on an ungreased or parchment-lined pan. Brush melted butter on top of the biscuits.
- Bake the biscuits for 14 to 16 minutes, until they are golden-brown. Remove them from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before serving.
